Hello, my name is Greg Johnson. I'm a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, predominately specialising in vocals, guitar and piano, but with working knowledge in drums and bass. I also have experience singing solo, with the accompaniment of backing bands.​

 

Whilst mainly based on the south coast of the England, I have performed at a variety of events across the country, including appearances on BBC Radio 2, as well as delivering a TED Talk and performance on creativity. Most recently, (and at present) I have been a resident solo singer and guitarist with P&O Cruises, performing to over 100,000 guests and counting.

 

I am regularly found performing in bars, restaurants and other venues, performing covers from the 1940s onwards. Whether it's easy-listening background music or getting a crowd going with a sing-along, I focus on my audience to give a memorable performance every time.

 

Regular bookings have included chilled Sunday evening music at Rick Steins in Sandbanks as well as a mix of relaxed and upbeat songs at VIP functions each year at the Bournemouth Air Festival.

My music and performance have won me several awards, including winning a regional talent competition in the south of the UK, against 300 people, for performance of an original song, as well as another award, this time in songwriting, judged by industry professionals, for the recording of an original song.

 

With an extensive setlist of over 1,200 songs, I pride myself that I'll have at least one song that everyone in the audience will know, tailoring my performances to create unique and noteworthy moments for any event.
